How to create the perfect bathroom for two

06 Oct

For busy romantics who like to relax and get to work on time...

If you spend your mornings elbowing each other out of the way; fighting over who is going to jump in the shower first and squabbling over where to keep the toothpaste and hang the towels, then you will probably be after a pretty practical bathroom design. But what if the tempo tends to change in the evening and you would like a room in which you can unwind with one another in a scented bubble bath with a bottle of wine to share?

Believe it or not, with our bespoke bathrooms, you can have the best of both worlds.

We show you how.

1. Get organised

With plenty of great ways to store (and hide!) your toiletries and towels, there really is no excuse for having a bathroom filled with clutter where you are constantly tripping over things - and each other. There are plenty of cool and contemporary ways to hide your stuff away to create a more peaceful and practical space.

2. Double up

There's no shame in having two sinks. In fact, we believe it makes sense. You avoid having to duck and dive while brushing your teeth at the same time, you can keep your space as clean and tidy as you like and there is no time wasted waiting for someone to finish before you can make use of the sink yourself. If you have ample space, why not double up on storage, too? Simple additions such as dual toothbrush holders or a double robe hook make it so much easier for two people to navigate a bathroom at the same time.

3. Invest in more than one mirror

You might think it's vain, but having more than one mirror in your bathroom, or perhaps one extra large one, means there is no time wasted when getting ready. No more dodging, no more tip toeing, just absolute bathroom bliss.

4. Create space to relax

Although the bathroom is a place of rushed teeth brushing and manic shaving most of the time, it can also be a great place to unwind with your other half, so if you have space, why not indulge in a double ended bath tub? Having the taps and plug in the middle means you can rest your heads at either end and relax at the end of a long day.

These are just some of the ways you can create the perfect couple's bathroom. If you are keen to find out more and take your living space to new heights, get in touch with us at BPM Bathrooms today.
